Frequently asked questions.
When is the best pick up time?
Great question, it honestly all depends on the day and time you want to get on the lake. If you are going on weekend day, we suggest selecting the earliest time possible so you can get on the lake before it gets too crowded or potentially a little choppy.
Our personal favorite times to go after 3 pm because typically that is when typically everyone clears out.
Is there a gas charge?
No - the price you see on the website is the rental price for the selected time period. The only added charge to the rental price is if you select drop off services, extra life jackets
Do I need to return the craft full of gas?
Also no, just leave all that stuff to us! Our job is ensure you have the best day possible. Let us worry about those minor details. The craft will always start out full, but it is your responsibility to add any additional fuel during the rental.
What is our favorite lake?
This is the toughest one to answer, it depends on four things.
1) The day that everyone wants to go?
2) How long does everyone want to be on the lake?
3) How old is everyone in the group?
4) What other activities do people want to do at the lake?
That being said, most of the time we personally go to Gunlock or Sand Hallow. If it’s smaller group and we are going to spend most of the time on the water, then we prefer Gunlock because most of the time it’s less crowded than Sand Hallow. But Sand Hallow has a bigger beach area that is sandy instead of rocky. Sand Hallow has a bigger no wake zone for paddle boarding and swimming, not to mention better cliff jumping.
